On April 21, 2025, a conference titled “Innovative Thinking: Steps Toward Development” was held on the initiative and organization of the “Innovative Progress and Ecology” Public Union for Support to Socio-Economic Development.
According to QHT.az, prominent experts and specialists from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, NGO leaders, and women entrepreneurs took part in the event. The conference began with the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs. Chairperson of the “Innovative Progress and Ecology” Public Union, Saida Musayeva, officially opened the discussion on the topic “The Path to Development for Women and Children Affected by Domestic Violence.”
Participants included NGO leaders from Kazakhstan Aliya Saginbayeva and Saule Musina, and from Azerbaijan Zulfiyya Nuriyeva, Mehriban Abdullayeva, Rukhsara Akhundova, Firuza Jalilova, Zeynab Hajiyeva, Tunzala Azimova, HR trainer Leyla Asadullayeva, head of the training center Jamala Nakhchivani, Landau school teacher Khayala Shabanova, European Youth Parliament member and school student Leyla Nakhchivani, along with a number of women entrepreneurs.
The conference featured in-depth discussions on key topics such as the role of innovative thinking in socio-economic development, the role of women in society, and violence against women. The event stood out with both practical and theoretical presentations. Experts shared important insights on sustainable social development, youth involvement in innovation, and preventing gender-based violence.
At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates and discussed opportunities for future cooperation. The participation of both academic and socially active individuals enhanced the interactivity and depth of the discussions.
The conference and the art exhibition by young female artists were held in the hall of the National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan. Gratitude was expressed to the leadership of the Forum for their significant effort and support in organizing the event.
