Respect to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev

On May 8, 2025, members of the Public Union “Innovative Progress and Support for Socio-Economic Development,” led by Chairwoman Saida Musayeva and with the participation of Deputy Chairwoman Jamala Nakhchivani, organized a visit to the Alley of Honor in commemoration of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder and architect of our independent statehood, Heydar Aliyev. During the visit, flowers were laid at the grave of this great personality, prayers were recited, and his cherished memory was honored with deep respect.

Heydar Aliyev left an indelible mark in the history of Azerbaijan. He was a wise and farsighted leader who guided his people through the most difficult trials of time. Thanks to his state-thinking, his unwavering prioritization of national interests, and his boundless love for the people, Azerbaijan became an independent, strong, and reputable state. The solid foundations laid under the Great Leader’s leadership continue to form the cornerstone of our country’s political, economic, and cultural development. The path of Heydar Aliyev—the ideology of Azerbaijanism—defines the primary direction for our nation’s future development, and preserving these values is a sacred duty of every citizen.

As part of the visit, the grave of academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also visited. A remarkable individual and esteemed scholar, she made exceptional contributions to the development of Azerbaijan’s healthcare sector. Her fundamental scientific research in medicine and her public activities are still remembered with great reverence. Zarifa Aliyeva is remembered not only as a prominent scientist but also as an exemplary intellectual with high moral values.

This visit reflects the deep respect of our people for historical memory, national-spiritual values, and great personalities.
